1. How safe is it to experience the home stay program and travel in Thailand?
Thais are well known for their hospitality and warmth.
It is an honor to the host when you are the guest,
staying in their home; being served home cooked
food and given personal guided tours to places of interest.
You do not mingle with the general tourist population,
sharing a common hotel or travel in large groups.
You are away from any threats.


2. Is there any communication gap?

As your host, we are fluent in English, Thai and Chinese language.


3. How long can the guest stay with the host?

As long as you wish, provided advance notice is given
and permitted by the Thai immigration authority.


4. Who are welcome to stay?

We welcome honest and well-mannered citizens
of the world; independently healthy young or old;
male or female; single or married; students or
professionals; honey mooners or families.

5. Do we have to pay a deposit to confirm our stay?
Yes, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your stay
one month before the arrival date. No refund for
cancellation with less than 2 weeks notice.

6. How do we travel to Chiangrai?

Via your departure airport to Bangkok then transit to
Chiangrai which is one hour flight time. Your choice of
ThaiAirways (boutique airline) or Thai AirAsia (budget airline).
Bookings can be made from the Internet - www.thaiair.com
and www.airasia.com. There are also available various classes
of bus/coach which travel direct from Bangkok to Chiangrai.
The journey takes about 12 hours covering a distance of 785 kilometers.

7. What is the necessary clothing to wear?
Sweater and windbreaker is useful from November to February,
night temperature may drop to 10c and other months your
usual wear will suffice. However, arm with an umbrella or
rain coat from July to September.

8. Do you arrange traditional weddings and vow renewal ceremonies?
We can arrange for the Northern Thai Buddhist tradition
or the Christian ceremony while you home stay with us.
